December 2009 Egret completed and delivered the Essex County (New York) Destination Master Plan and Destination Master Plans for six targeted communities within Essex County.  Essex County is the heart of the Adirondacks and includes Lake Placid, home of two Winter Olympics. 
July 2009 Egret facilitated the third "renewal" of Albuquerque's Destination Master Plan (interviewing key players in the destination and led a group planning session).
June 2009 Bob Harvey met leadership from the Ticonderoga Quality Development of Ticonderoga, New York in Derry, New Hampshire to examine a working water-powered sawmill.  Ticonderoga will recreate a 1750s water-powered sawmill, which will become a centerpiece in its history and traditional woodcraft tourism economy.
May 2009 Diane Kelsay and Bob Harvey spent an intense week in Santa Maria de Dota, Costa Rica, meeting with partners who are working out details for the development of a coffee lodge and tourism company, focused on Tarrazú coffee.
November 2008 Egret presented a day of progress reports and "big picture" topics related to the future of tourism in the Adirondacks at the Wild Center in Tupper Lake.  Egret's planning process there is targeting 6 communities within Adirondack Park, including Lake Placid.
May 2008 Egret began a new 18 month destination planning project with Essex County New York.  The project will look at the issues and opportunities for five target areas within the county. 
December 2007 Bob Harvey, Diane Kelsay, and Luis Godoy returned to Crystal Cave in Belize to review management progress and impacts.  Access is now more carefully managed and there are few signs of additional impacts.  There are still some vulnerabilities regarding access and impact management.
October 2007 Bob Harvey returned to Sichuan to review progress on tourism infrastructure and program development.  He brought a test group to the region and monitored their reactions to their experiences in Chengdu, the Wolong Panda Center, several Forest and Nature Reserves and other natural and cultural zones.
May 3, 2007 Egret Communications, Albuquerque Convention and Visitors Bureau, and the City of Albuquerque jointly won a Silver Cumbres Award from the New Mexico Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America for work on the Destination Master Plan.
