Unveiling the Plan
We live in a world where “rights of passage” are important – we need weddings, funerals, graduations, etc. to realign the way we think and act. There will come a time in this project when Essex County and the target communities need to move from “building a plan” to “implementing “our” plan”.
This “right of passage” event should be a celebration of accomplishment – and a public ratification (by every important partner) of determination to carry out the plan.
Egret proposes to help prepare for this important event and (if it helps) play a small role in the event. The fanfare, however, should be played out on stage as the partners from each target community unveil their part of the plan. The event should be managed as a kickoff event for building the future for Essex County tourism, with public relations opportunities for all cooperating parties. |

There may be some benefit to staging a related event that draws some attention (and patronage) to the iconic products that each community will lead with – to boost confidence as everyone heads into the hard work of implementation.
