– Feasibility Study
for Tourism Development
in
Blue
Hole
National Park

Communications worked with Belize Audubon Society, Belize
Ministry of Natural Resources, Belize Ministry of Tourism, and
leaders from tourism and adjacent communities to study the
expansion of
Blue
Hole
National Park
and to determine feasibility of a proposed tourism development
for the park. The
resulting study determined that the project was economically
feasible, that impacts could limited to previously impacted
areas of the proposed boundary expansion, and that it could
generate sufficient funds to underwrite the operation and
management of
Blue
Hole
National Park
and other parks in the
Belize
system. |
